Class Updates & Addtional Classes

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update to my upcoming class information. All classes held at Photo Scraps in Eldersburg, MD.  (Details below)

December 4th 11-1pm.  Sign Ups are now open.  Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey. This wreath will be raffled off in store.  All proceeds go to Komen for the Cure. Class fee is $25 and you will need to bring a hot glue gun and glue.

Newly added December 19th 11-1pm, Doodlebug and Maya Road Holiday Banner.  Call store for full details on price and sign ups. You will need normal scrapbooking supplies as well as pop-dots for this project.

 January (date TBD) Lily Bee and Maya Road Sewing Machine banner.  I have yet to make the sample but it will be similar to the American Crafts Banner I made recently.  It will include brand spanking new Maya Road product! Check back soon for details!

I have been a scrappin machine this past week!  I got a bunch of DT work done, check! So I had time to just play for me.  Enjoy your weekend!

Crate Paper Class 1of 2 Done!

I wanted to thank all the ladies who came out to take the first of two wreath classes at Photo Scraps.  Busy bee's they were and we had a wonderful time!

The Maya Road & Crate Paper Ornament class next weekend is SOLD OUT!  The next wreath class, which is Decemeber 4th, is now on Sale and will feature Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey. 

I did a wee bit of scrapping today.  I picked up some New KI Memories, Lily Bee and LYB today.  I don't know about you, but I am LOVING this new KI Stuff.  Who knew?

TGI-Thursday?

Oh why can it NOT be Friday already.  I am dying here.  So quick post.  I have a new tutorial up on Crate Paper today.  It's the 3D card below, be sure to go take a look.  It's by far one of my favorites! 

I also threw together a quick layout using this months Studio Calico kit.  Full of Sass and fun colors.  I'll be back this weekend with photo updates and class photos, should be fun!

Maya Road Design Team + Chez

That's right!!!!!  I am offically a Maya Roadie!  I couldn't be more thrilled.  You know I like to keep them in buisness with all the banners I make!  Here is one of my projects I made for my tryout.

Sewing Machine Banner.  Holy cow!  I love how this came out.  My new obsession, micro beads!

I <3 a Fall Weekend!

As you know this past week was my anniversary.  Typically we are on vacation that week, but this year I had some work obligations pop-up and I couldn't take off.  So Bill and I planned our outing we do every year for this past Saturday.  We took a drive to Thurmont, MD to check out Cunningham Falls.  The park was beautiful this time of year.  We stopped and ate at the Cozy Restaurant, the oldest in the state of Maryland.  The food was amazing.  I wish I had taken my camera in! 

This was my first try at dreamy water.  What do we think?  I need to practice more with my shutter speed, it was really fun.

Later we took a ride to Emmittsburg Antique Mall. I scored BIG time!

5 bucks!  This isn't even all of it.  I was so thrilled!

Can you say super score?  20 dollars!  I can't wait to tackle this bad boy!  It must have been the week for scores.  I scored this cutie for my bestie Mandy.

I am so happy fall is here.  Next weekend I am teaching my first class at Photo Scraps in Eldersburg.  There are two spots left for the paper wreath class and one spot for the ornament class on the 30th.  I will be following up a second wreath class on Dec 4th.  I look forward to seeing everyone there who is coming out to join in the fun!

Happy Anniversary

Three years ago today was the day I wanted to have my wedding on.  I was informed that if you get married on a Sunday in Las Vegas instead of Saturday it was half the price.  My inner tight wad rejoiced.  Today will always be my anniversary in my heart, even though tomorrow is the day we did the deed!

Is it a crafty weekend?

Well not for me so much.  However I did get my Studio Calico kit yesterday! So I snuck some time in after work to create.  My new favorite layout I think!  This photo is one of my favorites from my trip to NYC with my Mom.  The window says:  Smart has the plans, Stupid has the stories.  Love it.
