Make it Monday- Coachella Shorts in Military Max

Who says boys get to have all the camo fun? Max was one of my favorite paper lines, so I was equally as thrilled to see it come to life in fabric. My daughter LOVED the camo prints. I recently bought the Coachella Shorts pattern and knew it would be perfect for the design.  

I made bias tape from the skull fabric instead of using a trim. Pom Pom trim would also look pretty cool on them! 

For this shirt I merged two applique designs, Love For Boys & Military Patch(both from Planet Applique), to create the final Love Patch pattern. It's a perfect little outfit for play!

Her World + Earth Day

Hey gang just stopping by with a project I did for Earth Week on the Fancy Pants blog. What other way to kick off Earth week then with a To Die For layout inspired by my whole world (my daughter).  I know, I know I pulled a fast one and took our Earth Day inspiration to left field!I loved the patterned paper with the US print and I decided to roll with it, but in the globe die-cut shape.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut my shape.  I then lined the back with pop dots to create some depth under the globe.

I used the gold foil paper for my large die-cut title.  It runs through my machine like a dream!  Keeping with the globe, travel, around the world thoughts I had in my head I also die cut some airplanes in various sizes to go “around my world”.
