Make it Monday- The Molly Jacket by Violette Field Threads

Make it Monday!  My favorite day (not of the work week let's not get crazy)  Y'all I made a jacket.  This might be one of the best patterns I have followed yet.  Its good!  and it fits without alterations.  Plus hello....cute pockets. The pattern is by Violette Field Threads, Molly Jacket. I own several of their patterns and plan on making one of their dresses for Parker's Christmas dress.  The Piper

The jacket is made of a light weight corduroy I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  I used the coordinating cotton for the inside.  The jacket is meant to be reversible.  I chose not to add pockets to the inside and added the button to the front.  I used medium weight Heat N Bond interfacing on the entire thing.  I wanted to add some structure and the interfacing adds a bit of warmth I think.  I've used several prints from this line and I really like it for Fall clothes.  The whole jacket I think cost $10 to make and that's being generous.  Her pants have always been an issue because of size.  Since learning how to sew it has made life so much easier.  These are a 5t! and I hemmed them about 5 inches.  LOL!
