I've been ridiculous. Honestly. Catching up with Bella Blvd.
I believe this is the longest I've gone without posting. Truth is I rarely sit down at a pc anymore. I'm not sure why it never dawned on me to download the mobile app till now but...dundunnnn.
So I'll spam you with my last two Bella Blvd and Riley Blake sewing projects. The first is the Allie Oop dress by Brownie Goose and the second is a free pattern ala pinterest for a diaper organizer turned Halloween candy bucket. Full posts and links on the Bella Blog.

Make it Monday with SnapShots
Today we are switching things up, and instead of featuring projects using our paper collections, we are sharing projects created with our fabric collections!
Summer Outfit, by Jen Chesnick.
Hi gang, Jen Chesnick back again with another TOO CUTE summer outfit. TheToo Cute Ruche Shorts by Coles Creations needs to be a summer staple in your kiddos closet. She also has a teen/adult version too.
From start to finish they take about an hour to create. Once you have made your first pair you will be off and running. The pattern is also affordable! More moola for fabric am I right?
The top is the Fly Girl top by Little Lizard King. I had a bit of a struggle putting this pattern together, but in the end I love the finished project. The pair go well together and compliment Snapshots so well. Both use a limited amount of fabric so you can stretch your stash.
Supplies:
Bella Blvd Snapshots fabric by Riley Blake Designs, ribbon, bias tape, elastic (2 sizes), sewing machine, notions

Make it Monday- With Maya Road!
Hi Gang! I've been quite the blog slacker. It's Summer I am sorry ;) I am stopping in to share two projects made for Maya Road. Both sewing projects! Details below.
Sewing with Wood Buttons
Hi Roadies! Jen Chesnick here today with my first post since re-joining the Maya Road team. This time around you are going to see a lot of sewing projects from me using buttons, trims and other goodies. Today I have a dress featuring thelarge Handmade with Love wood buttons.
The dress pattern is by Simple Life Pattern Co. It's called the Rayann and is made with no closures. Meaning no zipper or working buttons on the back. On the front however there is a band for placement of snaps or buttons.
I used snaps for my band to cinch in the waist then sewed the buttons on over the snaps! The great thing about doing this is my daughter can snap her dress up herself AND I didn't have to sew any button holes. Hooray!
Too Cute Ruche Shorts and Candy Dot Trim
Hi Roadies! Jen back again with another sewing project featuring Candy Dots Bias Tape in Punch. I picked up this short and top pattern combo last month for a steal! The shorts are called Too Cute Ruche Shorts by Cole's Creations and are so quick and easy. Truly a great beginner pattern and a good way to use some of that pretty trim you've been hoarding.
The top pattern is also by Cole's Creation and is called the Too Cute Bias Tank. I used Laguna knit by Robert Kaufman and used the same trim for the bindings. This tank is a great canvas for applique designs or heat transfer material.
and one last photo of the three year old "Modeling" :) Hope you enjoyed!

Make it Monday- First Birthdays
First birthdays are so special. I know we went all out to celebrate and decorate for that matter. You can find Parker's photos HERE. A friend of mine asked me to create a banner, a bib and a crown for her little girl Molly. Her theme was under the sea. I totally love it! You can grab the pieces singly or as a bundle. Check them out HERE.

Parker's First Birthday- Out to Sea
++reposted from my old blog for savings sake. Thanks for stopping by! original post date June 2nd 2013
We held Parker's first birthday party Memorial day weekend. It all came together without much stress thank goodness. We have a HUGE family, huge. So we opted to have it at a park pavilion. It was really nice and if you are in the MD area I suggest Quiet Waters park in Annapolis. So here are her decorations. Little Yellow Bicycle generously sent me what they had left of the Splash (my favorite!!) collection so I could make them.
The cake was the show stopper by far. It was ADORABLE and tasted great. Parker tore.it.up.
She wanted to make sure we had some too.
Pre-cake we took some family photos. Below is My husband, Myself, Parker and her sister Victoria.
This is Victoria's Mom, Bill, Myself, Parker, Victoria and her boyfriend Josh.
Someone is sure to email me and ask, her dress is from Gymboree. Her shoes are Hoy Saltwater Sandals.
She was set to have a meltdown after the cake so we hurried to try and get the presents done without her passing out. My niece took the photos and the Unicorn rocker was by far her favorite toy.
She's a very blessed and loved little girl. She had a great day and crashed the heck out after. :)
