Baby Book + Pink Paislee Artisan Album

I've had LOTS of emails regarding Parker's baby book.  I finally took some decent photos of it and thought I would share what exactly I am doing.  When I first started I was going to do "Project Real life" which I guess it has kind of turned into that, but more of a monthly layout and not a monthly "spread"  I got this album from Pink Paislee a long time ago when I guest designed for them.  I searched the web and I am not coming up with any information on this album anymore unfortunately.  I know there was a big craze years ago when Ali Edwards used the inserts in here for her December Daily.

Amazing right?  I have not done a darn thing to the front.  I am afraid to commit.  Maybe I will have some fabulous idea and jump, but for now it stays as it.  The album fits 8.5X11 pages.

Inside there are lots of different page protectors and pockets.  The first set you'll find are 5x5 or 6x6 I didn't measure.  I've tucked her baby shower invitation, christmas card and other random bits and things into those.

Next are her monthly layouts.  I sat down while on maternity leave and pre-designed all the pages in the Silhouette software so that way I wouldn't be stuck each month figuring out what I was going to put together.  I wanted to keep it super simple and mostly flat.  Over time lots of lumps will damage the plastic and I just didn't want to deal with that.  I've keep the theme the same for each month and used Dear Lizzy Neapolitan and 5th & Frolic.  Both of those collections jive and are just super cute.

The next few pages I've kept her first hair cut cert, birth cert etc.  Things she will want when she is older.   Or just be embarrassed ;)

Next are the "project life" sort of pages. I ordered up just random photos and tuck them in there of her first year. I can't remember the place I ordered from, but they are all instagram pics.

The last pages are pockets.  I believe 4x4.  These are great for all those bigger bits and things, sonogram photos, hospital bracelets and the like. No dried belly button though. EWWWWWWWWWWW.

These are the only things I have save not in her book.  I have no idea what to do with them.  The newspaper is from the day of her birth and one from the holidays in Colorado.  The cards are from her baby shower.  I almost need a giant ziploc pocket in the back.  I am worried the newspaper will stain the other stuff.  So for now they stay in their own bag.  I hope I gave you some ideas for your own books and I thank ya for coming back to check out hers!
