Polka Dot background with Zots and Gelatos

Hi gang, I have a tutorial on the Thermoweb blog today using Zots and Gelatos check it out!

To start I used Zots™ in Medium, 3 different color Geltaos, a water pen and my canvas.

I tore of a couple strips of Zots™ and placed them directly on the canvas.  I didn’t intentionally line them up, but because of how they are placed on the strips they came out totally lined up!  Peel of the backing.  Because you are using canvas you might have to hold down one of the edges to get it to stick.

When your done it should look something like this.

Next scribble your gelato all over your canvas kind of like a crayon.  There are no mistakes here!_MG_1576
Then using your water pen blend your colors into your canvas.  You’ll notice them turning into that pretty water color look.

Before your canvas dries peel off your Zots™.  I used tweezers but they come off pretty easily by hand.  I wouldn’t suggest letting them sit over night you may end up with a permanent bond.
Let your canvas dry overnight and decorate!

Parker at age 2

Happy Birthday to my not so little baby!  Ya'll I cannot believe she is two!  When I was pregnant people would say "Enjoy it, it goes so fast"  They really did mean it.  Out are the days of getting nice smiley pictures of Parker.  She typically won't even look at me to take a picture half the time.  We took her out to Kinder Farm Park to run around and try to get a few pictures to document her 2nd birthday.  Which btw was awesome those pics to come later.

Look I got a smile!  Stats are:  36" or so tall, weighing in at 34lbs. Size 4T clothes and 8 shoes.  Shes gonna be a tall one! She is 99% potty trained!  I am calling her good, but you never know!  We are in undies all the time woot!  She currently loves the color purple, Tinker Bell, Frozen, Her play kitchen and food, and her baby doll stroller. She has turned into that toddler who only wants chicken nuggets.  She used to eat everything! Oy Vey.  She also says I DO IT, a whole lot.

Thanks for being here and sharing in these past two years.  More photos to come! (of course :)

Charleston - The Wedding Pictures (Photo Heavy)

Here is the last installment of my photo wrap up of my Sisters wedding.  The photo above is NOT by me :) (all others are) It's by her photographer at Riverland Studios.  You can find them HERE along with their amazing preview of her photos.  I did not get many photos of the reception nor the actual wedding since I was in it.  People cannot be trusted with a camera ya'll.  So I took photos of the flower making, the getting all pretty and a few at the reception.  I can't wait to see all the other photos.  The gal who did our hair and makeup had the most amazing space.  If you are ever in Charleston and are planning your wedding look her up HERE at Paper Dolls. But first let's arrange some flowers.

There were literally buckets of flowers strung out everywhere.  For none of us having a clue as to what we were doing they all came out amazing!

Now on to the pretties!

The Maid of Honor had tanks made for all of us with her hashtag #laffeypartyoftwo

and well you gotta get the kids dancing of course.  They were a RIOT.
