Woot! Fancy Pants as been a favorite of mine for a long time. When I was asked to Guest Design for September I was more than thrilled. I've created several projects and answered some fun Q&A's for y'all. Stop by their blog HERE for all kinds of inspiration.
- What is your favorite kind of project to create? This is a tough one! Mini Albums really are a staple for me and I love creating them. I know for most people they take a long time, but typically I can put one together faster than a layout! Hard to believe, but if you have great products and inspiring photos I think its easy.
- What is you current favorite FPD product? Die-cuts, hands down! Although the Burlap Bows are to-die-for. Each collection has such great die-cuts. They add so much depth to a page and the designs are always so cute.
- How has your work grown throughout the years? Gosh! Again another hard question. My style has certainly evolved over the past 7ish years. I also think my photography skills have gotten better as well. So the photos of my projects are better. I look back at older layouts and think gosh that would look much better if the photo was better. I’ve found my style and what I like to work with and I’ve stuck to it. I don’t hoard supplies like I used to. I buy what I know I will use and love.
Heck Yes: This layout is my favorite of the bunch. The large title in black (I rarely use black!) just stands out and screams at ya. I love that. I used 3D foam squares to pop the title up even further.

Vacation Happy: For this layout my starting point was actually the titles cut file. Fancy Pants has files available in the Silhouette store and I snagged them all up. Again I used black so it would stand out around all the pretty colors of Me-ology.

You & Her: This was the last layout I made in my tear through all the fun bits of Me-ology. I really couldn’t help myself. I used a glitter marker to change the color of the ampersand to fit my scheme better. I also wanted to be sure to sneak that big camera into a layout somewhere. The corrugated paper makes a nice backdrop for pattern papers and adds some heft to your projects.

You are my Greatest Adventure: This mini album took me no time at all. I truly LOVE how it came together. I used a wood album I picked up my local craft store. I sprayed the wood gold and layered up every flower I could cut out from Burlap & Bouquets. The burlap bows are by far my favorite thing EVER. I printed my photos out at roughly 4×6 and made them the star on each page.
