Modifing patterns and Camelot Fabrics

My new favorite thing is to put a sleeve on it.  I had made sleeves for the first time on a recent dress and once I did them I thought dang that was easy.  What I love about using the Brownie Goose patterns is the mixing and matching of pieces.  Amy really makes it easy with her sizing to modify and multiple HA.  So for this top I used the Tilly Top bodice, closed the back up and extended the bodice a touch.  I had the Cricket sleeves and a ruffle to the front.  The fabric is by Camelot Fabrics.  The line is called Fairyville, and it is so darling.

The pants.  Let's discuss these shall we.  My girl has some serious junk in the truck.  Standard pants she is typically in a 5T but they are far too long and  usually don't fit well in the crotch.  Making her some pants this year is SO much better.  For these I used another Brownie Goose pattern called Lola Bells.  Bell bottoms with a wide leg.  I still made a size 5, but with a 4 length.  I also added our brand new buttons!!!!  I posted about these from Bethany Lane a few weeks ago and they finally arrived.  I LOVE them. The fabric is a medium weight denim from Joann's that has a bit of a stretch.
