Memorial Day Decor Extravaganza with Bella Blvd

Happy Memorial Day!  I am up on the Bella Blvd blog today featuring Patriotic Projects.  I went a little crazy and dressed up my porch.  I love a good wreath for my door and since I hadn't used pinwheels in a long time I chose to go that route.  I cut out 4 of each color pinwheels from the Lucky Starz pattern paper then layered them around a wood wreath I picked up at my local craft store.  Be sure to use hot glue so you get a good hold.  I then created my giant bow to finish off the bottom.  It reminds me of Texas for some reason.  Or Sophia the First and her blue ribbon bunny.  Anyhow.

I used random brads from my stash in the center of my pinwheels then decorated with bits and pieces from the All American Collection.  I gave it all a good spray of Shine by Studio Calico too!

Since I was on a roll I created some easy decorations for my flower pots that flank my door.  I used small wood dowels I had on hand and cut out my stars and used my hot glue gun again to attach them.  They are Parkers favorite thing to pull out.  And put back in and pull them out again.

Lastly I cut some cupcake toppers out and put sparklers into my other pot for easy reach!  We always have people over this weekend, so they are sure to be fun.
